Service Description:
Since the 1990s, the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) has been one of the main operational arms of the Ministry of Petroleum in developing the South Pars shared gas field. In the early phases, IDRO participated as the Iranian partner of international consortia; however, following the imposition of sanctions, it took a leading role in implementing some of the largest projects — most notably Phase 14, known as “the most Iranian phase of South Pars.”

In addition to managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, IDRO has locally sourced a significant portion of refinery and offshore equipment. It has also played an active role in gas pressure boosting and enhanced gas recovery initiatives.

These efforts have not only increased the country’s gas production capacity to around 700 million cubic meters per day, but also elevated domestic engineering and manufacturing capabilities in the oil and gas sector to unprecedented levels.
