Austrian Ambassador to Tehran Mr. Stefan Scholz yesterday met the CEO of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and during the meeting he announced his government’s support for cooperation with Iran.

Austria Ready to Help Expansion of Industrial, Economic Ties With Iran

Scholz underlined Austria’s support and cooperation for progress of projects and expansion of economic and industrial projects in Iran.

He said that Austrian government and state-run institutions have no certain problem in doing business with their Iranian counterparts, adding that some ways and solutions should be found for continuation of the cooperation despite the current sanctions.

Meanwhile the CEO of IDRO Mr. Mansour Moazzami, for his part, pointed to the U.S. exit from the JCPOA, adding that European states should make decisions as soon as possible for continuing cooperation.

He also called for more active role from Austria as the presiding country of EU for cementing ties with Iran.

He also announced Iran’s Central Bank’s readiness and support in financing projects. Moazzami also called for holding joint industrial conferences between both countries in order to present potentials and capacities of both states for investments.
