Developing Phase 14 of S. Pars Is IDRO’s National Concern and Priority
Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) during his visit to Phase 14 of South Pars project said that acceleration and progress of the project is a national concern and IDRO’s priority.
Mr. Amir Bayat said IDRO as the first developmental organization of the country with over half a century experience constantly implements mega and vital projects in the country and acceleration in completion of this project is a national concern and priority for IDRO.
He then pointed to IDRO’s experience and knowledge during implementation of phases 1, 6, 7, 8, 17 and 18 of South Pars and called it an advantage and national asset which has been gained and manifested the most in the phase 14 due to the trust of oil ministry and domestic capabilities.
Bayat pointed to registration of honorable records in the offshore sector, manufacture of platforms and marine structures in the phase 14 of South Pars by domestic experts in the affiliated companies of IDRO, adding that this organization as the leader of consortium of manufacturers of phase 14 of South Pars ultimately sees its approach and concern in accompanying Oil Ministry and acceleration in implementing this national mega project during the economic war condition.
He also called for continuation of support by the oil ministry for fully Iranian consortium of manufacturers of Phase 14 with carrying out the proposal of Petroleum University of Technology regarding the completion of expertise assessments for construction of this mega national project.
