Dr. Norouzzadeh Holds Meeting with Austrian Bank Managing Director
Francois-Xavier d'Aligny, the managing director of Austria’s Erste Bank met with Dr. Norouzzadeh, the chairman of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran. During the meeting, the Austrian official touched on a history of activities of the bank, saying that the Erste Bank is ready to establish industrial centers jointly with IDRO and make joint investments.The bank is also ready to participate in financing industrial projects in Iran and provide necessary guarantees for the cooperation with Austrian and Eastern Europe industries, as well as launching strategic partnership in financial and industrial fields, he added.Dr. Norouzzadeh, for his part, welcomed the Austrian official, and described the country’s industrial situation. He added that after lifting of sanctions, cooperation with countries, such as Austria, which did not cut their bilateral ties with Iran under the sanctions, will be prioritized.“Austria maintained its political and economic cooperation with Iran both in the past and the present. The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization is interested in cooperation with Austrian banks and industries for financing Iran’s industrial projects and plans,” he added.During the meeting, financing and supporting some of the prioritized plans of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization, especially in underdeveloped areas, were discussed. It was decided that the Austrian bank to submit its proposals for participating in the projects as soon as possible.
