Eng. Gholamreza Shafei, the chairman of the board of directors of the industrial Development and Renovation Organization as well as the deputy minister of industry, mine, and trade, appointed Dr. Ali Kermanshah as the news managing director of the Industrial Management Organization.

Eng. Shafei appreciated efforts of the previous managing director of the Industrial Management Organization, Eng. Kamani, and stated that after half a century which passes from the establishment of the organization it seems that it is necessary to redefine responsibilities and missions of the organization.

“The Industrial Management Organization is among the superior organizations in the country in the field of training, consultation, and research. It was established before the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization. The Industrial Management Organization should meet today’s requirements considering the expansion of the private sector and the current developments in the country,” he said.

Eng. Shafei expressed the need for cooperating by the Industrial Management Organization with national research and scientific centers, saying that the Industrial Management Organization should benefit from modern theories of management and identify real industrial and management needs and offer services and trainings to the private and the state-run sectors which will be helpful.

It should be noted that Dr. Kermanshah is among the experienced and prominent professors in the field of management and has served as a faculty member of the college of management and economy and the head of electronics training center at Sharif university of Technology.

He has also serves as the director at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for international affairs, as well as the director at the Ministry of Industries and Mines for research and technology affairs.
