​Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran and the German Eno Energy will soon sign a memorandum of understanding to start cooperation in the field of wind turbines. Officials from the two sides, including Karsten Porm, the managing director of Eno Energy, held initial talks in Tehran, where representatives of the German company expressed interest in joint investment to construct wind plants as well as produce wind turbines. Eno energy systems GmbH, a manufacturer of wind turbines based in Rostock and Rerik, produces turbines with ratings from 2.05 to 3.5 megawatts and rotor diameters from 82 to 126 meters for the onshore applications. The company’s core business is focused on permanence in its developments and it realizes their machines only with reputable suppliers. The group is positioned in the domestic and international market as a manufacturer and supplier of plant services. With high flexibility and reliability eno energy is a solid partner for local investors and developers both at home and abroad.During the meeting, Porm gave a brief background of the company, including some details on the installation of more than 114 wind turbines by its branches in Sweden, Germany, France, and Italy. Eno energy represented its eno 114 and eno 126 wind turbines in September, with 4.0 MW capacities and up to 7 percent more yield, at WindEnergy. Its already most powerful wind turbines, the eno 114 3.5 and eno 126 3.5, are both receiving power upgrades to achieve 4.0 MW.Also, in the session Mr. Mahvidi, representing Microelectronic Research and Development Center of Iran, said one megawatt capacity of wind turbine creates 15 to 19 employment opportunities, a mission pursued by MERDCI. MERDCI is a R&D organization set up by IDRO, seeking to engage in R&D activities in the area of microelectronics, nanoelectronics and electronic systems.The two sides agreed to continue contacts to finalize a memorandum of understanding.
