​The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and Germany’s Bavaria State opened a joint bureau to expand cooperation in economic, industrial, and educational fields. The bureau was inaugurated by Dr. Norouzzadeh, the chairman of the board of directors of IDRO and Ilse Aigner, the Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology.In the inauguration ceremony, the chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran said that the joint bureau of IDRO and Bavaria, in fact, opens a window of opportunity from Bavaria toward Iran. It will act as a base for following up issues concerning industrialists of the two countries, he added.Dr. Seyed Reza Norouzzadeh, the deputy minister of industry, mining, and trade, added that large Iranian companies are the main audience of the bureau. A person in charge of finding Iranian partners in Bavaria will be active in establishing long-term relations, transferring technical knowledge, and making joint ventures, he added.During the opening ceremony, Aigner, the Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology, said for her part, that the aim behind establishing this joint bureau with IDRO is to have a long-term and stable presence in Iran and making investment in different industries in the country.Half of companies which are accompanying the economic delegation of Bavaria State have been active in the Iranian market in the past, she said, adding that other industrial companies in the delegation are looking for good Iranian partners.The official said that 50 percent of products which are manufactured in Bavaria are exported. Many capable and renowned companies, including Siemens, Audi, as well as companies which are active in the fields of oil and gas, ship building, hydraulic equipment, and recycling, are operating in Bavaria State, she noted.It should be noted that the joint bureau of IDRO and Bavaria was inaugurated in a ceremony which was held at the IDRO headquarters. It will thereafter host Iranian and German industrialists to ink agreements for launching industrial and trade partnerships.
