IDRO Announces Readiness to Attract Foreign Investment, Channel Domestic Investors in Large Industrial Projects
In seminar on IDRO and foreign investment at AMB IRAN 2017 expo:
The deputy director of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) for investment affairs has expressed hope that holding AMB IRAN 2017 exhibition would lead to a lot of cooperation agreements between Iranian and European companies, especially German and Italian ones.
According to IDRO News, the deputy director of IDRO for investment affairs referred to the activities of IDRO in the fields of automotive, oil, and petrochemical industries, and domestic megaprojects as well, saying that there are big and profitable grounds in domestic industries. Interested individuals and international investors can operate in these fields through cooperation with IDRO.
Fardad Daliri touched on the existing capacities for renovating industries, part making, car industry, and other industries related to oil equipment, adding that the exhibition can be a place for introducing the domestic market’s needs and introducing cooperation opportunities to Iranian, German, and Italian companies which are participating in AMB IRAN 2017 exhibition.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Daliri said: “In addition to participation in large oil and gas projects, IDRO is also making effort to produce equipment for these industries. We hope that the new oil contracts would be signed by big international companies over the next three months. It is expected that as much as $50 billion worth of contracts would take effect in 2018.”
“There is a huge demand for equipment and services in the projects. This issue has made IDRO to think about making investment in building such equipment. In this line, IDRO invites the foreign private sector to participate in the projects,” he added.
The deputy director of IDRO for investment affairs referred to AMB IRAN 2017 as one of the unique exhibitions, saying that the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization contributed to holding the event as a strategic partner. “I hope that holding the exhibition would lead to a lot of cooperation agreements between Iranian and European companies, especially German and Italian ones.”
AMB IRAN 2017 wrapped up after four days at Tehran’s Shahr-e Aftab International Fairgrounds.
