IDRO Proposal for Brazilian Companies

Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) hosted Brazilian technical and trade delegation last week in the field of boosting bilateral car parts manufacturing industry, Public Relations Dept. of IDRO reported.

Of the salient Brazilian car parts manufacturing companies, it should be referred to: Chip Tronic Co., Suporte Ren Co., Frasle Co. (as one of world leading brake manufacturing company, ECS Co. (producer of carbon brush), Freios Farj Co. (producer of air brake system), Riosulense Company, SBU (producer of complete series of brass fittings and pipes, MIC (producer of car parts for heavy vehicles), etc.

Mo’azzami Managing Director of IDRO was the first speaker in this business forum who pointed to the car production capacity in the country and put the annual car production volume in the country at 2,000,000.

He also put the car manufactured in the country in the past Iranian calendar year 1395 (ended March 20, 2017) at 1,400,000.

With the studies made in this regard, 1,600,000 cars will be manufactured in the country in the current Iranian calendar year 1396 (started March 21, 2017), he said, adding: “Manufacturing more vehicles and cars in the country is a clear manifestation of significant boom in the country for car and parts manufacturers.”

Turning to the Brazilian parts manufacturers and activists in car industry, he said: “Moreover meeting domestic demand to car, Iran has got the lion’s share of products in the region.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, the deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade pointed to the high capability and potential of Brazilian car parts manufacturers and said: “Iran has expressed its readiness to broaden bilateral ties with Brazil in the field of manufacturing quality car parts.”

To date, IDRO has concluded six separate contracts with foreign companies in the field of manufacturing car parts, he maintained.

He pointed to the implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the official title of nuclear deal, and said: “After JCPOA, rosy and bright future was opened for Iran to boost its trade and economic relations with the outside world.”

It should be noted that Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) is the largest industrial company in Iran which is busy active since 1967. IDRO’s objective is to develop Iran’s industry sector, accelerate the industrialization process of the country and to export Iranian products worldwide. Today, IDRO owns around 50 subsidiaries and affiliated companies both domestically and internationally.
