IDRO Ready to Boost Bilateral Ties With Dutch Firms

Organization of Iran (IDRO) says the group is ready to expand

industrial relation with Dutch companies.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of IDRO Group Mr. Mansour Moazami during meeting with Dutch Ambassador to Tehran Susana Trestal said that launching a credit line between Iran and the Netherlands can help the industrial relation between both countries to expand practically.

 He also noted that President Hassan Rouhani stresses joint cooperation with foreign companies. He added that during the sanctions era, the contact and relation with European companies and banks were not in normal condition but after the JCPOA, a positive atmosphere has appeared and now the group is ready for talks, adding that the group is looking for those European companies which are interested

 in cooperating with Iranians by training local producers. He pointed to the activities of the IDRO on the gas, oil and discovery fields, adding that the group has received a licence from the oil ministry for launching an exploration of an oil field, and joint cooperation and investment is possible.

 Dutch envoy, for his part, said that Dutch government encourages the companies to cooperate with their Iranian counterparts but in some cases it is difficult for them to start cooperation because of their lack of enough information on Iran.

 She added that Dutch government is in talks with Iran’s Central Bank and finance ministry and it is a must for Dutch enterprises to know Iran’s regulations and legal structure, adding that the process may take long time but the government will do its best to ease it.

 She also announced the Dutch government’s readiness to provide Iranian companies with its training capacities.

 Meanwhile head of international affairs department of IDRO Mr. Seyed Ali Araqchi, for his part, said that launching a credit line between Iran and the Netherlands will help the expansion of industrial relation to be developed in practice.
