IDRO chairman of board of directors in a meeting with Russian first deputy PM:

Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, heading a delegation, met and held talks with Mansour Moazzami the deputy industry minister as well as the chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO).The main theme of discussions between Shuvalov and Moazzami was the expansion of industrial cooperation between the two countries. In a separate meeting, Moazzami held talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak who also chairs the Russian-Iranian Joint Intergovernmental Commission. During the meeting, the two sides explored ways for increasing opportunities to expand cooperation in the fields of oil and gas, air, rail, and car industries. At the end of the meeting, the chairman of IDRO expressed hope that the negotiations and the agreements would lead to the creation of joint ventures with the aim of manufacturing industrial equipment in Iran.Moazzami went on to say that in the memorandum of understanding signed during the 13th joint economic committee meeting by Iran and Russia, different fields of cooperation between IDRO and its affiliated companies with Russian companies toward expanding industrial cooperation have been defined.The chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran welcomed cooperation with renowned international companies and referred to huge potentials in the country, saying that as it has been mentioned several times companies who are willing to enter the Iranian market should make joint investment. ​
