IDRO Deputy for Development of Industrial Investments Dr. Daliri has stressed the organization welcomes cooperation with international companies in the areas of offshore industries, maritime facilities, as well as manufacturing of maritime equipment.He was making the comments at the Offshore Energy Conference 2016 held in the Netherlands on October 25-26.The conference featured an extensive conference program, offering a platform for discussing key topics and solutions for the offshore community. The three day program consisted of keynotes, technical sessions, master classes, meetings of industry organizations and the Offshore WIND Conference. Noting that IDRO is among a select of companies authorized by the Iranian Oil Ministry for exploration and operation activities in the country’s oil and gas fields, Dr. Daliri  said, “under the new IPC model, foreign companies can enter partnership with Iranian partners in drilling, exploration and operation of oil and gas fields.” The IDRO deputy also referred to the key role played by IDRO in operating phases 1, 6, 7, 8, 14, 17, and 18 of South Pars gas field, adding most of maritime facilities in Iran have been established by IDRO affiliates.He cited Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex Company as one example which is capable of building ships of various sizes, drilling systems, and oil platforms.​
