IDRO receives Indian industrial delegation

Fardad Daliri, the vice president for promotion of large energy and infrastructure projects at IDRO, received the visiting Indian delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry. According to the report, the Indian delegation was headed by Dr. Naushad Forbes.
In the meeting, the two sides introduced their fields of activity, highlighting expansion of industrial ties between the two countries. Referring to IDRO’s mission and activities as the largest development organization in the field of industry in Iran, Daliri said Indian companies have been present in different sectors of Iran’s industry for many times, including oil and gas. The two have great capacities to boost ties, he added.
Also Daliri saw joint investment as the best option to expand cooperation between Indian and Iranian companies, stressing that joint ventures are in the interest of both sides, particularly facilitating Indian companies’ access to regional and Iranian markets. Participating in the event were representatives of some Iranian companies including Iran Khodro Industrial Group and Motorsazan.
At the end of the session, the two sides agreed to continue negotiations and put forwards their proposals for further consideration.
