The deputy director of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) announced that the organization will sign a contract for producing anti-cancer vaccine by the end of the calendar month of Khordad (June 20).

Mehrdad Sabbaghi added that IDRO will sign the anti-cancer vaccine production deal with Ibn-e Sina Research Complex. IDRO has carried out many activities in the field of modern industries, such as hybrid cars, CHP power plants, GTL technology, bioethanol and medicinal herbs. In this line, IDRO is in cooperation with research centers and units, such as Ibn-e Sina and Royan research complexes, he added.

Referring to the fact that IDRO divested its subsidiaries last year as much as the past four years, he said that 113 trillion rials is projected to be invested in modern industries. It is hoped that 10 plans would be invested in by June 20. 

The IDRO deputy director further said that a bioethanol production plan will be implemented in Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Company. In this line, 10,000 liters of bioethanol will be produced in the company, he noted.
