ITCO, S.N.I sign industrial cooperation document
The Iranian Power Development Turbine Co. (ITCO), an IDRO subsidiary, reached an agreement with South Korean S.N.I Company to expand industrial cooperation. ITCO Managing Director Ahmad Khademolmelleh and his counterpart Daniel Kristopher signed the document to pave the way for participation in Iran and South Korea. Under the agreement, ITCO will help the Korean side with partnership in Iran’s rotating equipment market (turbines and different types of engine). In return, S.N.I agreed to provide ITCO with equipment and financing, particularly when it comes to micro power plant and waste-to-energy projects. Also, ITCO agreed to use its technical knowledge to construct combined cooling, heating combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) plants. As a subsidiary of IDRO, ITCO is a knowledge-based organization which has managed to localize technology required for constructing CCHP plants. The company has also manufactured sensitive and strategic turbine parts and rotating equipment inside the country through domestic capacities.
