Iran, China cooperate for producing 30,000 tons of glass fabrics
annually



The Iranian deputy
industry, mines, and trade minister, as well as the chairman of the board of
directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization
of Iran (IDRO) met with the managing director of the world’s largest
producer of glass fabrics and inspected the glass fabrics production line of
the company.



Following to an
agreement signed with the largest producer of glass fabrics in the world, Eng.
Shafei, leading a delegation of officials from IDRO, traveled to China and paid
a visit to the production line of the company and its advanced machinery and
systems.



He inspected melt furnaces,
glass fabrics production lines, unique pushing line, as well as the textile
section of the factory.



During a meeting with
the managing director of the Chinese company, Eng. Shafei expressed
satisfaction over participation of the big Chinese company in the production of
glass fabrics in Iran.



IDRO intends to launch
at least two glass fabrics production lines, each with 30,000 tons annual
production capacity, he said. The required land for establishing the first
glass fabrics production line has been acquired and we are ready to start
construction operations, he added.



He also invited
Chinese investors to take advantage of the Iranian market’s opportunities
compared to its neighboring markets, and boost their investments in Iran.



The Iranian and the
Chinese officials emphasized the need to enhance bilateral ties.



It should be said that
the Chinese company uses a unique technology for the production of glass
fabrics. The company’s products are comparable with European and American
products in terms of quality.



In this line, IDRO signed a cooperation MOU with China's CNBM. The
MOU was signed by IDRO chairman Eng. Shafei and CNBM representative Ms. Yaoyan.
