Iran, Uzbekistan to improve energy, modern industries co-op
In a meeting between Uzbekistan Foreign Trade Minister Jamshid Khodjaev and Iranian Deputy Industry Minister Mansour Moazzami in Tehran, the two sides underscored the vitality of developing mutual ties in energy and modern industries sector, the portal of Iran’s Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO) reported on Tuesday.
Moazzami, who is the head of IDRO, called on the Uzbek officials to finalize the agreements on the intended industrial projects for being implemented by Iran in their country, regarding the accord between the two sides and the imminent trip of Iranian president to Uzbekistan.
Khodjaev, for his part, announced his country’s willingness for taking advantage of Iranian capabilities and expertise in various sectors such as foodstuff, machineries, medicine, modern industries, and energy.
