Joint Venture with an Approach toward Indigenizing Technology and Boosting Exports
IDRO chairman outlines model of cooperation with foreign partners:
The chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) said in a meeting with the deputy Finnish minister of labor and economy that the model of cooperation between IDRO and foreign partners is based on creating joint ventures with an approach toward indigenizing modern technologies and boosting exports.
Mansour Moazzami the deputy industry minister as well as the chairman of IDRO met with Deputy Finnish Minister of Labor and Economy Petri Peltonen. During the meeting, Moazzami depicted the business environment in Iran and introduced investment opportunities and projects with IDRO in different fields of industry.
The deputy Finnish minister of labor and economy, for his part, referred to the grounds for cooperation between the two countries and the role of IDRO in the Iranian industry sector, voicing interest that the two sides would expand cooperation in various areas of industry.
Petri Peltonen explained that the delegation under his leadership aimed to explore ways for expanding cooperation in different areas, including the energy sector, especially renewable energies.
The deputy Finnish minister of labor and economy referred to small and medium sized enterprises as an appropriate subject for cooperation between the two sides, saying that “We can lay the groundwork for cooperation between medium sized companies.”
It should be noted that the managing directors of several renowned Finnish companies such as «ARAFIN», «NOCART OY», «VALMET», and «EAST CONSULTING LTD» which are active in the fields of investment, provision of equipment for power plants, and development of renewable energies, accompanied the country’s deputy minister of labor and economy.
