New IDRO chairman appointed, more efficiency underway

​Industry Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh has named a new IDRO chairman, appointing Dr. Mansour Mo’azemi as the new IDRO chairman as well as deputy industry minister to enhance the effectiveness of the country’s most important development organization, according to SHATA. 

Mo’azemi replaces Dr. Reza Nouroozzadeh, who will be taking on its new responsibility as industry minister counselor. Also, at the industry minister’s instruction, Mohsen Salehinia and Farhad Daliri, respectively head of the industry affairs of industry minister and deputy IDRO chairman, were appointed as new members of the organization’s board of directors. 

Also, Nematzadeh paid homage to Ayoobi Mehrizi and Saberi for their contributions as members of IDRO board of directors.

Oil and gas head of Management and Planning Organization of Iran (1359-1365)

Managing director as well as head of the board of directors of National Iran Gas Company (1365-1368)

Managing director as well as head of the board of directors of Khark Petrochemical Complex (1368-1371)

Planning and development head as well as member of the board of directors of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) (1371-1377)

Managing director as well as head of the board of directors of Petrochemical Commercial Company (1377-1379), also simultaneously member of the board of directors of National Petrochemical Company (NPC)

Industry Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh has outlined a number of priorities for the new IDRO chairman as follows:

-Boosting the country’s industry sector via developing modern technology industries

-Management betterment and development of human resources through providing education, research, and relevant consultation

-Investment in less-privileged areas and risky industries and supporting domestic and foreign private sector investors in the areas 

-Renovating and restructuring key industries in order to shore up production and efficiency 

-Financing projects through attracting foreign and domestic investments

-Developing applied research and technical knowledge with a focus on boosting domestic designing and production engineering 

-Supporting the production of equipment and heavy machinery required by oil and electricity industries and rail and maritime transportation

-Promoting competitiveness of industries in order to attend international markets 

-Investment in advanced industries abroad in order to promote management and innovation and bring in revenues

-Participation in the implantation of the country’s key industrial projects and infrastructure
