In line with plan to provide 630 subway cars for Tehran metro,

The first announcement for prequalification of Iranian and foreign companies to supply subway cars for Tehran urban and suburban railway system was published.

The announcement, published both in Persian and English languages, invites eligible Iranian and foreign companies to apply for designing, receiving permission, manufacturing, testing, transferring, commissioning, delivering, training, offering guaranty services, and supplying tools observing legal requirements for utilizing the maximum capacity of domestic technical and engineering services and benefiting from foreign resources to provide 630 subway cars for Tehran urban and suburban railway system, according to IDRO News.

It should be noted that based on an approval by the national economy of council, the management of the project has been transferred to The Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran. The public call both in tender and bid sections is available at the official website of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran.
