​IDRO chairman of board of directors visiting South Pars:

The chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran paid a visit to different sections of the South Pars gas field phases 17 and 18, including the refinery, the sulfur production unit, as well as the monitoring units.

The IDRO chairman visited the project site on Saturday ahead of the official inauguration of the South Pars phases 17 and 18, according to IDRO News.

Dr. Mansour Moazzami paid a visit to different sections of the South Pars gas field phases 17 and 18, including the refinery, the sulfur production unit, as well as the monitoring units.

The chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran appreciated all individuals who had participated in the development of the phases 17 and 18 for their efforts and called the project a symbol of national self-confidence.

Mansour Moazzami also thanked the Oil Ministry for providing Iranian companies with the opportunity, saying: “What we are seeing today shows the country’s high capability and we should congratulate all those who had been involved in these mega projects.”

It should be noted that IDRO has led the consortium for developing the phases 17 and 18 and the projects are planned to be officially inaugurated along with the phases 19, 20, and 21 on Sunday in a ceremony in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani.
