Three German states show interest in industrial cooperation with Iran
Mr. Daliri, IDRO deputy for the development of macro energy projects and
infrastructure, hosted three senior German state officials, exchanging ideas on how the sides can expand their industrial cooperation.
Visiting German figures included CristianPegel, Ministry of Energy, Infrastructure and State Development Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Stefan Rudolf, deputy minister for Economic Affairs, Construction and Tourism of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Martin Dulig, Saxon State Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport, and Thomas Wunsch, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Science and Digitalisation of the State of Sachsen-Anhalt.
Among the main themes for cooperation discussed in the meeting were medical engineering, therapeutic technologies, engineering services, automotive industry, equipment manufacturing, port facilities, renewable energies, and biotechnology.
In the session, the IDRO deputy introduced the organization and referred to a background of joint cooperation between Iran and Germany particularly Iran’s ties with Saxon state and BORSIG company, calling for joint investment and transfer of technology.
The two sides also agreed to share their ideas on how to set the scene for bilateral relations.
It is worthwhile to note that a press team, accompanying the German delegation, held an interview with Mr. Daliri about cooperation opportunities between Iran and Germany.
