Top 100 Iranian Companies Introduced
The top Iranian companies were introduced in the “Top 100 Iranian Companies” conference. The companies were listed based on financial reports related to the Iranian fiscal year 1392 (March 2013-March 2014). Accordingly, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company ranked the first with 400 thousand billion rials in sales. Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company ranked the second and the third, respectively.Ghadir Investment Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company, Mellat Bank, Oil Industry’s Retirement Fund, Tejarat Bank, Parsian Bank, and Iran Khodro Company ranked the fourth to the tenth in terms of sales.Also, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company was named the most leading company, Pasargad Value Creators Group was named the most advanced company, Day Bank was named the best selling company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company was named the company with highest added-value, and Mellat Bank was named the holder of the highest amount of assets.Meanwhile, Iran Khodro Company ranked the first in job creation with over 50,000 employees, Saipa Company and Saderat Bank ranked the next with 36,000 employees and 32,000 employees, respectively.Persian Gulf Petrochemical Company ranked the first in terms of sales with some $3 billion worth of sales. Ghadir Investment Company and Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company ranked the next.It should be noted that the Industrial Management Organization of Iran announces the top 100 Iranian companies annually. The ranking is mainly based on annual sales. The ranking continues down to the 500th Iranian company.The Industrial Management Organization also introduces the top 10 export-bound companies, the elading companies, the companies with highest growth, the companies with highest productivity and added-value, and also the most successful industrial groups.
