World Welcomes Iran’s Pavilion at Expo Milan / Expo an Opportunity for Getting Familiarized with Countries

Iran’s pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 was highly welcomed by many visitors from different countries. The expo was an opportunities for people from around the world for getting familiarized with customs, cultures, traditions, climate and food varieties in Iran.One of visitors who came from the Netherlands to see Iran’s pavilion said: “Based on my previous knowledge I had an understanding from Iran as an arid and droughty country. But, my imagination was changed once I saw the country’s pavilion. I know now that Iran is a country with a diverse climate.”Lik Hoben added: “Iran’s pavilion is the only pavilion which has used flowers and natural plantation to introduce Iran’s climate to visitors.”Ms. North, another visitor to Iran’s pavilion at Expo Milan, said: “I was walking in the expo’s premises when the odor of flower and nature attracted me.” The environment of Iran’s pavilion has become very scented and pleasant due to the use of flowers and natural plantation, she added.Ms. North, who had been surprised, said: “Do you have really these beautiful flowers and plants in your country?” We are being attracted to a garden at the Expo unconsciously. “Visiting this pavilion helped us very much change our imagination about Iran, which we have not paid a visit to so far.”Britt Vendel was another visitor to Iran’s pavilion. After visiting the pavilion, he said: “Considering the main motto of the Expo which was ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’ and ‘Global tablecloth, Iranian Culture’, Iran has managed to close to the target very much and has expended much in this regard.”I hope to travel to Iran once and see attractions of the country, he said.It should be noted that some 15,000 people paid visits to Iran’s pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 per day. The first day of the Iranian calendar month of Shahrivar, which falls on August 23, has been named the National Day of Physician and the Avicenna Day. It was named the national day of Iran at Expo Milan 2015. This naming was due to the theme of this edition of the Expo and the knowledge of the world about Avicenna, as the father of pharmaceutical medicine.​
