According to the head of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO), a production line for maritime containers is set to be launched soon with the cooperation of private sector.

The Head of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) announced that a total of 65,000 worn-out vehicles have been scrapped and replaced with new ones nationwide, marking a 103 percent increase compared to the previous period.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) stated that, with the aim of developing renewable energy and addressing environmental challenges, the organization has placed the construction of a solar power plant with an initial capacity of 260 megawatt on its agenda.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade announced that around 150 worn‑out vessels across the country are ready for recycling, each containing an average of 10,000 tons of steel.

The Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade stated: "We must provide incentives for the replacement of worn-out motorcycles so that riders can swap their dilapidated bikes for more fuel-efficient ones."

Iranian Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) has begun a pilot program to renovate and modernize aging industrial units across six provinces, with officials saying nearly 200 factories have already registered to participate.

Chairman of the board of directors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) Farshad Moghimi said on Sunday that seven MW of energy has now been connected to the grid, 45 MW will be injected into the grid in about 15 days, and a total of 250 MW will be transferred to the power grid by small and micro industries by the end of this year.

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) signed an agreement to produce and supply biofuel-based gasoline (bioethanol).
